This qualification provides knowledge to help employees fulfil specified duties related to fire safety and emergency procedures in the workplace. Employees who hope to develop their basic fire safety awareness to assist their employer by performing specific fire safety roles in the workplace, e.g. As Fire Warden / Fire Marshal.

Delivery would typically be through one-day training course (8 hours).

Learners will develop their knowledge and skills in fire safety, including: how fires are caused, the risks associated with fire, principles of fire safety management at work, understanding the role of a fire warden and more

The Level 2 Award in Fire Safety Principles is valid for a period of three years.

This qualification is assessed by Multi Choice Questions. To Awarded this qualification the Learner must achieve a percentage pass in the Multi Choice Questions paper.
